Probiozym may be ordered in our webshop!
This probiotic product is primarily developed for patients with autism, ADHD and other forms of protein intolerance. Stomach and intestinal problems and a disturbed gut flora is common in these patient groups.
Peptides from incompletely digested food seems to influence the symptoms in these patients. To supply them with bacteria able to reestablish a natural gut flora may be beneficial. Probiozym may also prove useful in other circumstances, such as after antibiotic treatment or when travelling.
The product Probiozym is composed of 4 different strains of lactic acid bacteria:
Lactobacillus rhamnosus NEU 427
Lactobacillus crispatus NEU 458
Lactobacillus rhamnosus NEU 427 and Lactobacillus crispatus NEU 458 have high levels of peptidases. These are enzymes capable of breaking down pathogenic peptides from casein and gluten. The strains will be very competitive against pathogenic bacteria because of their adhesive properties (the ability to stick to the mucosal surface and multiply there).
Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum have been used in clinical trials. It has been shown that these strains inactivate Clostridium toxins, which play an important role in the disturbed intestinal flora of autistic children.
Dosage and storage
We recommend 2 capsules per day. 1 capsule 2 times daily. The capsules should be taken during meals.
Probiozym should be kept refrigerated over time, and the glass should be closed when not used.
In protein intolerance against casein or gluten, Probiozym should be used as a supplement. We have no data to suggest that the product can break down all harmful peptides formed.
